Tell us about your journey to ARL…

I started as a Trainee Driver in 2017, after nearly 30 years in the corporate sector with various roles in Banking.

What do you enjoy about working at ARL?

Every day is a school day! There isn’t a day that goes by where I don’t learn something new.

In your career so far, what are you most proud of?

Making the career switch quite late in life and then progressing quite quickly through the ranks into management.

Tell us about your most memorable railway trip…

Took my daughter to Paris for her 10th birthday and we got upgraded to 1st class on Eurostar. She was so excited! Also the journey from London to Cornwall was really scenic and so relaxing.

If you could book a ticket to any destination, where would you go?  

For a railway trip I’d like to travel the Belgrade-Bar Route as I love the outdoors and beautiful landscapes
