A BRIGHT FUTURE: OUR LATEST LED UPDATE

We're excited to share our progress on the LED lighting initiative, which aims to replace outdated lamps with energy-efficient LEDs across our network. This upgrade is a significant move towards sustainability, reducing energy consumption and our environmental impact while delivering substantial cost savings. Moreover, these LED lights will provide better illumination, improving visibility and safety for passengers and staff.

Since our last update, we've installed LED lights in nine more stations, including Shadwell, Wapping, Rotherhithe, Surrey Quays, Dalston Junction, Shoreditch, Hoxton, Haggerston, and Willesden Junction.

With this, phases one and two have been completed as planned, and phase three of the project has commenced, which will extend to 18 other priority sites, scheduled for completion by April 2025.
