A HISTORIC DAY FOR OUR NETWORK: LAUNCHING OUR NEW LINE NAMES!

Yesterday marked a monumental milestone for our network as we officially launched the new names for the London Overground lines. In a grand celebration at Dalston Junction, we were joined by the Mayor of London, Sadiq Khan, Transport for London, and key community stakeholders to mark this historic unveiling.

This event is the result of an incredible amount of effort from the projects team at ARL, whose meticulous planning and coordination made the line naming a reality. The work behind the scenes to seamlessly integrate this shift into our network has been impressive; ensuring that every detail of this large-scale transition comes together smoothly. Across the network, we also celebrated by dressing up stations with bunting and customer giveaways.

'I have felt incredibly proud this week to see the signage and customer displays change to reflect the names and colours.'
Victoria Liddell, customer experience programme manager

However, the transition does not stop here. Over the next few months, we’ll continue embedding these new line names into the fabric of our network, ensuring that both our colleagues and customers can easily recognize and navigate the changes.
