When you run train services in one of the world’s busiest cities, staying healthy is a key part of ensuring we deliver for our customers.
Post-pandemic this has become even more important, which is why ARL has started a series of free health and wellbeing workshops for any colleague to join.

The hour-long monthly Zoom sessions are fun, engaging and are provided by independent wellbeing experts. The workshops cover everything from how to boost your fitness, to lifestyle tips for those who spend much of their working day sitting. They aim to leave you feeling empowered and motivated.
October’s session will focus on a range of women’s health issues, while November’s will look at how to manage stress through diet and lifestyle.
The sessions have already proved popular.
“The ‘beating anxiety’ wellbeing webinar was a really great way to hear about how my diet and lifestyle habits can have a huge effect on the way I cope with stressors,” said Katie House, business management graduate.
“They gave me useful advice that could be applied instantly. I have noticed a positive impact on my mental wellbeing.”
If you are unable to attend the live events, all the workshops are recorded and available to watch whenever you like via The LOdown. Invites have already gone out. Check your calendars for upcoming sessions.
