CREATIVE VOICES: OVERGROUND EXHIBITION AT HACKNEY WICK

To celebrate the new London Overground line names and explore customer engagement, TfL launched a competition inviting passengers to express their creativity through artwork or poetry inspired by the renamed lines across the network.

After receiving a wide range of entries, 11 winners were chosen for their outstanding work. These winners have their pieces showcased at the Hackney Wick station since Wednesday, 29 January. The exhibition will run for eight weeks, until Wednesday, 26 March, providing plenty of time for you and our passengers to enjoy the creative talents of our community.

This exhibition is a wonderful opportunity to celebrate the diversity and imagination of those who use the Overground every day and resonate with our new line names in a unique way.

We encourage all our colleagues to check out the exhibition if you pass through Hackney Wick during its run!

"I think this artwork is really important as it provides a unique opportunity for people to express themselves and feel represented. It's fantastic to see such a diverse range of participants, from different ages and backgrounds, getting involved."
