LED UPGRADES CONTINUE ACROSS OUR NETWORK

We're pleased to share the latest progress on our platform LED lighting upgrade initiative, which continues transforming our network with modern, energy-efficient lighting. This ambitious project reflects ARL’s ongoing commitment to sustainability, energy savings, and enhancing the passenger experience. By replacing outdated lighting systems with advanced LED technology, we're significantly reducing our carbon footprint and improving visibility, safety, and the overall atmosphere across our stations. 

In 2025, we've successfully completed LED installations at 17 additional stations, including Kensal Rise, Finchley Road and Frognal, Hampstead Heath, Gospel Oak, Camden Road, Caledonian Road and Barnsbury, Hackney Wick, New Cross Gate, Brockley, Crystal Palace, Wandsworth Road, Clapham High Street, West Croydon, Kentish Town West, Dalston Kingsland, Canonbury and Homerton.

With this momentum, the final phase of the project is now underway and on track for completion by March 2026.
