LIGHTING THE WAY

We are pleased to update you on the LED project, our initiative to replace outdated lamps with modern, energy-efficient LED lighting across our network. This upgrade signifies a significant step toward a brighter, safer, and more efficient future. Here's a brief overview of the benefits and progress:

The new LED lights significantly reduce energy usage and our environmental footprint, generating cost savings and promoting sustainability. LEDs also have a longer lifespan and greater reliability, resulting in fewer replacements and lower maintenance costs, thus improving operational efficiency.

Superior illumination from LED lights enhances visibility and safety for passengers and staff, contributing to a more secure and pleasant environment.

We have completed LED replacements at 33 stations. The current phase focuses on eight core sites on the Windrush line and Willesden Junction Station, with completion expected by the end of July. The project will extend to 18 other priority sites, scheduled for completion by March 2025, further enhancing service quality and operational efficiency.

Our Project Manager, Wei Xu, shares her enthusiasm: "The LED project is a remarkable step forward for our network. We're saving energy, cutting costs, and creating a safer, more pleasant environment. It's a win-win for us all."

This initiative reinforces ARL's unwavering commitment to ESG values. By reducing our carbon footprint, improving safety and passenger experience, and exemplifying sound governance through cost savings and efficient resource management, we are staying true to our principles and aligning with the values of our stakeholders.

We take pride in our progress and look forward to the positive impact this project will have.
