TEAM HATCH END TAKES ON THE RAILWAY BENEFIT FUND CHALLENGE

On Tuesday 9 May, customer hosts Neha Petal, Liam Nixon, and Andy Hallisey took a 15-mile challenge from Palestra house to Hatch End Station to raise money for the Railway Benefit Fund.

The Railway Benefit Fund supports current, former, and retired railway people and their families across the UK. Team Hatch End dedicated themselves to completing this sponsored walk starting at 9:15am. They headed towards their first stop, Covent Garden London transport museum, with a quick photo outside. Taking in the sights and capturing pictures as they reached each destination. Once they arrived at Kilburn High Road, they spoke to other colleagues before heading to Hatch End via Neasden to meet Charlotte Whitfield, customer service director.

“From Neasden to Hatch End we still had 7.4 miles, so we set off towards Kingsbury, then onto Hatch End station, completing the walk in about seven hours and 30 minutes.” – Neha Patel, customer host.
