TRAINCARE SESSION AT SILWOOD

During stress awareness month, Traincare colleagues at Silwood participated in a Health & Wellbeing and Environmental clinic. The session aimed to bring attention to the negative impacts of stress and how we can learn to manage it in our lives.

The team took part in a one-minute breath test to reduce your heart rate and blood pressure and reduce the levels of stress hormones in the blood. To further equip our colleagues, they took some time to watch our latest webinar on "Building Resilience." Providing healthy solutions that challenge us to grow and strengthen whilst not compromising our health and learning to bounce back from setbacks and not break.

Other clinics will take place; look for dates and locations on Yammer.

"It was really great to be given this opportunity to spend some time with our Traincare staff and appreciate the different well-being challenges they have by working during the night.  They were extremely engaging and enthusiastic, asking lots of questions and welcoming all the resources that we provided on the night. Really looking forward to our next visit." - Colleen Johnston, safety, health and wellbeing specialist.
“I believe it was a wonderful initiative, it was really a great experience and very educational. I hope we can have more of these events maybe more tailored on the specific needs and struggles faced by night shift workers.” - Mauro Colonna, train presentation manager
